You know what I can't stand? Broken promises. People who say one thing
and do another, and betray something they've known their whole life for
the "new" thing, leaving all the hard work to the people who care. It's
like Star Wars. The easy way out can often lead to bad things. What am
I talking about? If I said so, I would hurt people, and I don't want to
do that. I just need to express how much it sucks to be on the
reciveing end of a broken promise, especially by someone who is
supposedly such a good person. I sound mad, but that's 'cause I am.
Commitment is something that can't just be dropped, and people need to
learn that. I'm not saying I'm perfect; just saying that it seems that
others haven't figured out what I've known since day one, 'cause that's
the way I was raised. You hold to your commitments, no matter how rough
things get. If you suddenly go join the "new" thing and leave everyone
else out in the cold, you are really only hurting yourself in the long
run by running away.Wow. That felt REALLY good. I needed that. Yeah. my day sucked. I hate
school (I think I said that earlier), but whatever. I truly belive that
school isn't that benaficial, and all you need to do is nail the SAT
and you can go where ever you want. Heck, I'm in the smart people
program and I'm one of the laziest, procrastinating people alive when
it comes to school, but I nailed the PSAT and suddenly I'm smart.
SUMMIT is awesome though, and I hope my lazyness doesn't get me kicked
out. It most likely will, but whatever. I'll worry about that if it
happens. Pray for my youth group. We're having difficulty with people
leaving and not enough leaders. Just keep us in prayer.Although he'll never read this; David Tasky; you are the man.
